Not a deal..... Has anyone else noticed deterioration in quality at Bella Italia?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else on here has noticed the deterioration of food quality and portion sizes at Bella Italia?

I know they've changed the menu recently, but our regular dishes still feature, albeit smaller portions with far less meat.

Just wondered if anyone else had thought the same? Incidentally, prices have remained the same!

Could the quality get any worse? It was always sub shop's own brand value ready meal bedly micowaved quality...

Since the menu changed, ive only been there once and am in no hurry to go back.
they've taken my drink off the menu and as you said you get a lot less for your money now, was bad enough before.

Our local one is so slooooow!

We went in as a group of 2 adults and 4 children. Waited 20 minutes to be served, and when our food finally arrived (after a further 30 minutes) they missed two of the orders, so my 7 year old and my husband had to wait a further 15 minutes for their food. We wont be going back, especially as they wouldnt offer any money off the bill, just 10% discount next time we came.

Yes, I have. And the drink is sooooooooo expensive. £5 for a limoncello?! OH and I went a couple of weeks ago and the bill was £90 and we weren't even drunk! My steak was fatty and stringy. The service and atmosphere were excellent, but I'm not paying £90 for atmosphere!

Well, as an update for you all, I complained via the website.

Got an email from the restaurant manager apologising and offering a free meal for two if we wanted to return, which I thought was pretty decent.

IF we go back, and I'm unsure at the moment, I will let you know if it improved!
