Insurance Approved Locks

Actually, bumping it up now and then is not a bad thing, if it gets people double checking their locks. 5 lever mortise deadlock was the requirement on many of the older doors with a single key lock - however, more and more UPV doors are being fitted, and 5 locking points are becoming the normal requirement. Simple, lock your door when it is open and see how many metal bars/levers jut out.0

Yes you do need a 5 lever mortice that meets BS3621:2007. For UPVC doors they want a lock that complies with EN1303:2005.
Sorry but even though I agree this should be true - it is not.
BS3621 5 lever mortice locks are often a requirement for insurance policies.
However euro locks used to secure the 20m+ upvc doors in the UK currently have no required insurance standards.
The EN1303:2005 British Standard covers key combinations, bumping resistance and drill/pick resistance. However these BS locks can be snapped in 10 seconds and the door opened.
The old and many current euro locks have a basic design floor - the cam and locking screw leave a tiny amount of metal for strength - hence opportunist burglars can 'snap' the lock in half with some mole grips, making the doors strong multipoint locking redundant.
The euro cylinder is the straw to break a strong camels back - £500 door, £100 multipoint locking held together by a £4 euro lock made of cheese....
My advice - regardless of the current insurance requirements is to get a TS007 1 star or 3 star anti snap euro cylinder.
Yale Superior are a 1 star solution. Approx £19.99 inc vat
ABS Avocet are a 3 star solution. Approx £42 inc vat
Or pay your 'best mate' local builder to swap it for another crap cylinder that is not kite marked, or TS rated.
Insurance compliance is one thing - coming home to an empty house is a different story and not worth the £30-£40 for a decent euro lock.If you stay loyal all the time, you get treated like a dog.0
