Car Park attendant stupidity

  • Some car park attendants are just thick, I have a friend who has blue badges, her husband dropped her at the shop entrance and then went to park the car (no spaces by the entrance). When he got out the car the was an attendant who looked at the photo on the badge and said "Thats not your badge you have to pay to park." My friends husband explained it was his wifes badge and he had dropped her at the entrance and was just parking the car but the attendant started arguing saying he would fine him if he didn't pay. He paid for a parking ticket then asked the attendant for his name so he could report him to his bosses. The attendant then gave my friends husband the money for the parking ticket out of his own pocket.

My local council gave me a ticket for having my permit (to park in our gym car park) round the wrong way, refused to show me a picture at first, got hold of it and guess what, was round the right way after all.

My hubby got a parking ticket for staying longer then he had paid and displayed for, he was about to pay until I asked him to show me me his Pay and Display ticket, turns out he still had an hour on it, emailed photo of it to the council who soon cancelled the charge.

My Mum got a ticket for parking on a Sunday without displaying a ticket, guess what, you don't have to pay on Sunday, clearly displays that on the board, that was cancelled too.

Council traffic wardens, or whatever their fancy name is these days can be right muppets at times.
