Uncaring holiday company

Uncaring holiday company, Coast & Country/Shearings!

I informed them 5 days prior to our weekend break in the Lake District-Hotel Windermere, my husband has been taken very ill and therefore, advised by the Doctor not to travel. the company would not alter booking and will only refund 10% of the £278 I paid in full six weeks ago. Please let all your friends know how uncaring this holiday company is. :>((

Sorry to hear about your husband hope he get's well soon.

Did you read the small print when you booked and paid? The company will have incurred costs with the hotel etc, you need to make a claim on your travel insurance. They are not uncaring it's commerce and everyone should be allowed to cover their costs.
