Hi everyone,
Sorry for not being around yesterday - by the time I made it on it was pretty late & I felt it was a bit pointless! Was so busy but at least I got done all that I wanted to do
Candy - Thanks for starting us off - did Bessie sell for much or is she still going?
NTBY - Glad you enjoyed your birthday weekend, sounds beautiful
DNMS - Hehe I'm glad you had a good time! Good luck with the meal plan & thanks for reminding me I need to do one ready before we go shopping on payday!
So today I have/will:-- [STRIKE]Used freebie deodorant that I am being paid to trial[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Made use of free water/milk at work[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Food from stores[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Stay in at lunchtime to avoid spending[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Email venue contact & florist back[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Transfer money from paypal to bank account[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Check online banking[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Dinner from meal plan[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Check for surveys[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Enter comps[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Check ebay - awaiting payment for 1 item still[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Take refillable water bottle to tkd & get a lift there & back[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Washing on super quick 15mins wash[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hang up to dry[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Do some flying - living room tonight, need to declutter & wash that floor![/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hope my current car insurer sends a renewal through, & if not call them just so I can try & get them down to the cheapest quote I have found so far as it's less hassle to renew![/STRIKE] - Called them & the best they could offer me was over £100 more than what I'd been quoted on confused.com by another insurer - 4 years loyalty (they've been the cheapest for me for that long!) is obviously only worth £90 to them, despite their quotation on confused being £50 cheaper then what they offered over the phone...cheeky !!!!!!s!
- [STRIKE]Create a meal plan[/STRIKE]
- Go through next month's budget
- [STRIKE]Will use freebie toner as part of Tesco Home Panel[/STRIKE]

Aw, thanks Rocks!! I love having you guys spectating on my love life, its a bit like guest starring on eastenders :rotfl:
Things are indeed going well - though the weekend wasn't very romantic as roommate 3 was sharing our room / tent at all times (errr...), it was fun to spend time together without all the usual kampala stress. We're both out of the country this week but looking forward to seeing him on the weekend, hopefully. I'm really rubbish at this whole dating thing and feel a bit lost, but still generally quite giddy and happy about it all so hoping it works out :A
A million congrats and hugs on the new job! are you excited to get started?Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000

Hello! Really stressful day mostly spent trying to sort out council tax bailiffs, being threatened with immediate arrest (yeah right) and generally being lied to by said Bailiff. Spent hours at the council trying to get statements. Now have in my grubby little mitts letters to say everything paid up. Now to get back to bailiff advice online and get some letters sorted to get erroneous charges refunded/deleted. Once these charges have been refunded then it looks like the bailiff owes me money

I am now so drained and pooped that I am going to wash up, have dinner, wash up again, shower, get ready for my 7-3 shift tomorrow and then go to bed!
Oh, and I checked the banking
Actually, can I do a big shout out to the lady from BAO, if you ever have trouble then give them a ring :T0 -
Pernicious wrote: »Candy - Thanks for starting us off - did Bessie sell for much or is she still going?
Bessie didn't make the reserve so didn't sell - someone emailed me to ask the reserve price on it so replied to that!
Decided to save up for a different car, and see if I can part ex bessie.
Thanks for asking though.
