Freedom pass question?

Can a freedom pass be used from zone 4 to chafford hundred station? I understand an oyster card can be used, but not sure about freedom pass? I guess one wouldn’t be able to top it up, like an oyster card?
If yes, who much extra to top it up?
If no, then how far can the freedom pass take one, and then how much extra for chafford hundred?
Thanks

http://www.londoncouncils.gov.uk/services/freedompass/whenwhere/rail.htm has a link with a map - Chafford Hundred is outside the area
The Freedom pass will take you to Rainham or Upminster - you can buy a ticket from there (or use Oyster if you get off the train to swipe it) or buy a boundary zone 6 to Chafford Hundred ticket. The latter are only sold at ticket offices - not online.0 -
