Took my darling son to see Cars 2 today, the big cineworld in town charges £7 for adults and £7 for kids too  so got a 10 min bus ride out of the centre to this small cinema.
for our film tickets (I'm a student so only pay kids rate), a fruit shoot, big box of popcorn, a bag of minstrels and a medium diet coke it cost £15.60 - only £1.60 more than it would have cost just to get into the one in town!
makes you wonder why the smaller cinemas aren't more popular. the theatre was really nice too, all cushy velvet seats and very clean.
I'd reccomend it to anyone in nottingham.

I remember it well from when I was at Nottingham Uni - it was heaving on a Sunday night! Now I know why.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

it was kind of mid full when we went, but I was still really impressed with how good value it was. Incidentally, I'm currently at nottingham trent0

Do they still have the double seats?
I was at Nottingham Trent 10 years ago - you could even smoke in they Savoy thenPay off all my debts before Christmas 2015 #165.0 -
Do they have a car park there?0

lol you can't smoke there but they do still have the bar - you can even take your drinks from the bar into the film with you! and they do still have the double seats
they don't have a car park, but theres loads of streets nearby you can park on as theres a lot of residential streets surrounding it.0 -
Whaaaaat?!? Where is that one at?
I hate cineworld its way too expensive! Im in notts alot as my partner lives there an we used to go cinemas a lot but cant afford to as much now we usually buy a cheap dvd and some pop but then we get his brother wanting to join us and 3 is definately a crowd with him there!0 -
Its on Derby Rd, near the tower blocks. Its very nice, cheap and clean. I think an adult is only £3.75 even in evenings.0

I like cineworld but that's because I go to the cinema a LOT (say twice a week) - and I pay £14 per month for unlimited cinema visits....
Always get my sweets and drinks from tesco express next door who have recently, rather cheekily, started doing pick n mix for MUCH MUCH less than cineworld!!!
That being said I do love a nice independant, old school, cinema - such as the one in aberystwyth where I used to study/0
