Just bought a frigidaire larder fridge. Switched it on 24 hours before putting in any food as per instructions.
I have a fridge thermometer, Temperature doesn't go below about 45 degrees inside. I presume that is farenheit, Instructions say internal temp. should be between 2 and 5 degrees celsius. When I open the door, it doesn't feel as cold as my last fridge. help?

Was it delivered upright? If not they should be left standing upright for 24 hours before switching on. Ours is reading +4 C on the digital readout. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Hello espresso
Thank you for that. It was delivered upright, sometimes tilted a bit as there was only one delivery man! he said to leave it for 4 hours before switching on and then run it for 24 hours before putting food in. Which we did. It is showing 3c on the digital readout on the front, but my free standing fridge thermometer is showing much higher inside. Things are cool, but don't feel as ice cool as my last fridge, maybe they aren't meant to be so cold!0 -
Does it have an adjustable thermosat? These are usually on the inside or outside near the top of the fridge.
If yes, try a lower setting.
If not, and after 48 hours it is still not cold enough, contact the shop or whoever supplied it.0 -
