need help regurading upvc back door....

we live in a old house we have not long bought it and it still has all old stlye windows and doors, other half wants to replace the back door as all it looks like is 2 bits of MDF glued together with bit of polystirene (SP??) inbetween.

would it be a waste of money just doing a door,

or should we do all windows and doors in the house as none of them are double glazed, (old windows, wooderen frames)

Advice welcome please

Full double glazing would be nice but there is nothing wrong doing it bit by bit.

If all you can afford now is a new back door get one. It won’t be a waste of time or money.

Have a good think about what style of windows and doors you would like to get eventually and make sure your new back door will match that.
