Hi
We have now booked our trip to USA May 2012. We have managed to save enough airmiles to cover our return flights to Orlando. We also want visit family in Alabama for a few days in the middle of our trip, but Airmiles only allow us to fly in and out of the same airport.
We therefore need return flights from Orlando to Atlanta. We have found these for about £800 with Delta, but ideally, we would obviously like to pay less, so any advice would be most welcome.
We tried Airtran, but they are not accepting bookings past March.
Should we wait for the budget airlines to release their schedules, or is Delta likely to be competitive?

I'd wait and book once US domestic airlines release fares although Delta should have fares available now. You might also find flights direct to Birmingham, Alabama or another local airport in Alabama rather than routing to Atlanta. Try Southwest.0
