Creditor Meeting set...

Just thought i'd share this - my creditor meeting is finally set for 15th August at 11am.

I sort of can't wait but have butterflies already, hate to think what i'll be like on the day ;)

hopefully the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer.....

Good luck for the 15th ... it's well worth the wait (IMO)
    I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum
Cos how can you be gloomy, when the sun shines out your bum? :D
  • thanks both, just cannot wait for the decision to be made and can start again - still trying to get to grips with this budgeting business, my major downfall in the first place....
  • Thats good news, hold on in there not long to go now..

Good luck, it'll be worth it we're in month 1 of our iva and the relief you feel once you're accepted is amazing.

Also the budgeting (in my opinion) one of the best bits of the iva, we really needed to learn to live within our means and save for anything unexpected rather than 'stick it on the plastic' and worry about it later. We're hoping we'll learn our lesson and never make the same mistakes again :)

I agree 100% - after 20 years of spending and not caring I actually enjoy trying to get to pay day with a surplus now - in fact if I'm not careful I'll be crossing over to the dark side (Yorkshire) from being a Lancashire lad as those Yorkshires are known for their tight !!!! ways :D

thanks. we've been budgeting hard for 4months and each month we've been overspending big style but in july we really really stuck to it, took cash out and put it in jars and it worked!!! so chuffed, even my partner is impressed we've managed it and we've got a bit spare £20 (wowee) to go crazy with on our week off next week :rotfl:
