TCP and Whyte & Co

Got an invoice from TCP back in April, which I ignored. Got their follow up letter ignored again.

Yesterday, I got a letter from Whyte & Co Debt Recovery and Legal Services (:rotfl:), just checked the what to expect thread and for TCP there are only three letters, one from TCP and 2 from A.A. Hutton LLP.

Is this TCP now using the desk to left rather than the to right in the office or does that thread just need updating?

Oh, the letter also says if I don't pay in five days from date of letter (dated 20th, received 24th) recovery action WILL be instigated (not may as others usually do).

So with that, they have now scared me, so where is my debit card!

Hmm, nah, don't think I will bother. :rotfl:

Also on the letters thread, how do you make the pictures bigger, they are so small and I can't read them.

Recovery Action = Passing the folder back to the middle desk to be "archived" in the cupboard of "non-payers" so that they can recover the blue folder to use on another sucker.

Recovery action = recovering themselves from the emotional heartache suffered from their target not falling sucker!
  • Recieved a £70 parking charge for parking on the pavement in Glasgow Fort (where it is free parking anyway) unfortunatly did not think to seek advice before taking next action. Seen on this not to appeal and ignore letters etc. However I have already appealed saying that did not see the signs and there are no double yellows on the pavement I parked on etc. appeal was rejected and now recieved a letter from whyte & co. with usual nonsence on it. having now read all the advice I should have just ignored it to start with but does the fact that I have appealled and basically confirmed I was the driver mean that I have to pay or can I continue to ignore successfully. any advice would be appreciated
  • You managed to find this thread, it seems, in order to append your story to. Have you looked at any of the other threads in this forum? It's packed full of occurrences of exactly the same story as yours: "I appealed and only then searched the internet and realised I shouldn't have". And the answer is always the same: it makes no difference, just keep ignoring.

Makes no difference. Ignore them now.

I usually advise people in your shoes to just search this sub-forum for the keywords 'already appealed'. So, go back one click to the thread list (see my signature if unsure where to click to get back there). On the right above the columns it says 'search this forum'; click on that, put in your keywords and 'show posts'.

The question is asked at least once a week! :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What did you expect them to say? What's in it for them to let anyone off?

Now they can harass the driver instead of the registered keeper. Now the driver has to ignore them instead of the registered keeper. What's the difference?
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
