Prepaid Cards

Im new to all this...does anyone have any exprience of prepaid cards...ie, Virgin.
All info good and bad appreciated, thank you.

In my experience they do exactly what they say.

In selecting a particular card be aware that there is a potential raft of sneaky charges (which should be clearly stated in the card summary).

I have an electron card through Entropay which is a virtual card i.e. you don't have a physical card but just the numbers exiry dates etc and I use this to avoid charges on Easyjet flights (you pay a % of the money you load on but nothing else).

I have a Orange pre-paid Mastercard that I use for avoiding fees with Ryanair, costs £5 to buy and then nothing for loading etc.

Only have them for this purpose so don't know about using them for anything else.

Some of them charge for cash withdrawals, other charge a monthly/annual fee. Always check the list of fee upfront.
