Okay, New Year, new start over. The house is looking like the summer holidays have happened instead of the Christmas ones :o OH is back at work today, DD is back at school tomorrow so my plan is to get started with some things today and then really get stuck in tomorrow ;):D

I've written down the tasks since this thread started onto paper and now I'm off to put in a load of washing (my hotspot as we've just come back from IL's) , then I'll tackle DD's hair and get on with the rest of the list. Will be back at midday while I have lunch. :D

    Morning all.

I still have the porch to clean as I was distracted by other things yesterday, but did nearly everything else on my list plus a couple of extra`s.

    Today I`m HOPING to,

    Clean the porch.

Wash my fridge inside and out.

Clean all my appliances in the kitchen.

    Wash kitchen tiles.

Clean out bathroom, including cleaning the jets and pipes on jaccuzzi.

    Make 1/2 dozen bread buns.

Take rubbish to tip, will probably have to be done in two goes.

Spend 1 hour on my course work.

So far I`ve done one load of washing.

How do people stick to their list? I cant seem to do it,I get most things done but find more interesting jobs to do.

I thought I'd caught up with reading all the posts, but I'm behind again... Well done everyone, you are all doing fantastically!

I am just about on target (apart from the Christmas card list), but I did force my OH to help yesterday in the hallway challenge, which is now sparkling. Washing is up to date, only one load of ironing to do, sink shiny and paperwork up to date. Off out to buy a new diary! :j

I will update with todays list later. Have a good day everyone! :D

Just popped in to collect today's list, and am still on here 45 mins later, when I'm supposed to be doing the weekly shopping! Note to self: doing the flylady challenge means actually DOING something, not just reading about it!

I managed most of the first two days list yesterday, except for the 2 cupboards, as my finely honed diplomatic skills were required to sort out two bickering teenagers...

The kitchen should be a doddle today, as it was thoroughly done before Christmas, so I might even have time to go into town!

PS While I was washing down the walls in the hallway, I checked the smoke alarm as well...

Morning Flybabes! Hello to all you lovely newbies :hello: And well done to everyone who seems to be doing so well :T And for those of you feeling a bit less motivated please keep going and remember babysteps - just doing one or two things is better than nothing and will make a difference.

Well, I did a 27 fling boogie in the office yesterday (my hotspot!) and it motivated me to keep going so the office is looking really tidy for once and I have 4 piles to sort: filing; books/mags/catalogues; guarantees/receipts/manuals; to do pile. It's all much more manageable now thank goodness.

Also got all the decs down and did my christmas cards/labels. Now DH has to put all the Christmas bits in the loft for me.

However, didn't do my daily wash and I was worn out by tea so we had to have fish & chips :o

    Daily:
    Make beds
    Swish & Swipe ensuite
    WM one load
    TD one load
    Iron one load
    DW
Calendar check - update 2007 calendar and add birthdays
    What's for dinner?
    Post
15 mins paper control - pick a pile!
    15 mins emails

    Plus:
Purchase, wrap & deliver FIL present
    Drop off dry cleaning
    Tidy up kitchen
    Tidy up playroom
    Sort out thank yous

    What's the challenge today?

DS back at pre-school tomorrow so hopefully I can get some more done. Still feeling tired and sick most of the time though. Ho hum mustn't grumble.

    Happy flying. Punky x

    Hi everyone,

At w*r* so not flying until this evening. But intend to do the kitchen, it looked beautiful on NY Eve but is slowly going backwards.

Pork Hock and mushy peas is in the SC all day, yummy.

A I went out I looked at the porch (which has been on my list for 3 days) and decided to wait until Saturday when the wreath will come off the door. It's only a very small entrance porch and takes about 10 mins to clean.

Want to 27 fling boogie unwanted toiletries/make up tonight. Have already made a start and am up to 2 before I left the house this morning.

    Morning All

I'm going to ease myself back in gently

    1. Inventory the freezers
    2. 2 loads of washing
    3. File paperwork
    4. Meal Plan
    5. 27 Fling Boogie in Playroom
    6. Put List of birthday for January in diary to buy cards.

    Plus daily
    Make beds
    Swish and Swipe bathroom
    Tidy kitchen and shine sink
    Attack Hotspots

Think that will do for today
Sorting my life out one day at a time

    Hi all.

Well.girls are back at school tomorrow, so I'm taking them to see flushed away at the cinema as a treat.

Beds are stripped but yet to make fresh
    Load in the Wm
    Dinner in the SC

Will hopefully be motivated to tackle the kitchen when we return as cooker really needs a good clean.
