Well didnt post last night as I decided to hit a hotspot when I came upstairs to the study and decided it was the desk - was there til about 10:30 when decided enough was enough lol

Anyway jobs I managed to do yesterday:

    Little ones bedroom
Wash bedding (done on Sunday so not done yesterday)
run hoover round dust bookshelves (done these with a damp cloth)
and windowsills, (cleaned window and all surrounds)
    wipe light switches (done)
clean any mucky marks off doors and door frames.(done)

    Also added to Mogins list
Pulled bed out and washed all the skirtings down.
Washed the floor (laminate) and hoovered rug.
    Swept the room for cobwebs

    Hallway
Hoover stairs from top to bottom, (done)

    Also added to Mogins list
Cleaned the hall window and surrounds.
    Cleaned all the skirtings
Washed the laminate floor in hall.
    Cleaned mirror and picture frames.
    Cleaned light fittings.

Felt very energised so also decided to start tackling the kitchen
    Wiped down the skirtings
Cleaned the microwave and the shelve its on and the one above
Cleaned the slate upstand under the micro shelf (kitchen fitted a year ago and still hadnt sorted the grout out!)
    Cleaned both kitchen windows
    Cleaned the skirting.
Washed down the front door (inside)
    Washed down the radiator.
Cleaned the shelves above the front door and the window
    Tackled one kitchen hotspot.

Then at night decided to tackle the desk which I am half way through lol

    Dailies
Made Breakfast lunch and dinner and cleared all away again
Cleaned down kitchen worktops after making above.
Cleaned top of cooker after making above.
    fed cat
    swish and swipe of bathroom.
3 x loads of washing and TD
    1 basketful of ironing
    put out the rubbish.
    put DW on

Felt so good after I had completed that lot, and slept very well. Today I am at work so just a few dailies done this morning before I left so others to do when I go home.

    * Sort out clean washing pile and iron it/put it away
    * put away dishes off sink and clean it - Done
    * decide what to cook for tea and pre-prepare what I can - Done, curry made from ingredients that needed to be used today/tomorrow - hooray
    * Hoover hallway and stairs - Done

Just got ironing left to do - see ya next week :D Also did a couple of things I've been putting off ie: putting in housing repairs to the council - my home will be fab if I keep this up :)

Well I've done behind/under the desk :j It was a nightmare! Re-arranged, labelled & "tidycable"ed all the wires and attached the 4-way-extension to the back of the desk to save some space on one of the shelves. Then I made the mistake of deciding to hoover the fan on the computer  Ended up almost taking the computer apart trying to tackle all that dust and ick! It's still not properly clean as OH will have to get a can of pressurised air or something to clean the last 2 which are too inaccessible to clean with a soft paintbrush;)

Just had lunch (toast & coffee as I need something hot to warm me up) and I could really do with popping out to the shops as we've just ran out of spread. I desperately need something really hot and soothing as I just can't get warm today, so a nice can of cream of chicken or mushroom soup would just hit the spot ;) Think I might pop to the co-op...trying to avoid Aldi & Asda until the weekend when I can get OH to pick me up with the months shopping ;) Right...off to tidy up the kitchen (will wash pots later when I've had something hot) and then Co-op I'm coming!

Did your lovely kiddies not even make you one? Well, belated happy birthday wishes!! Who needs birthdays at our age, I still feel young.

    Great isn't it?

8 children, one husband, 2 parents, 1 grandmother and no birthday card... until today!

Not to worry, I got presents and after all.. they ARE the important bit!!

ooh.. best wrap hubby's present.. I usually end up foing the wrapping last minute.. but I need to go take the bedding up so I will do it now.. then ring GP surgery for blood results.. then empty at least 1 of those infernal tesco crates in the hallway!.. no doubt it will be time to collect the grubs by then!

I am REALLY tired again already.. I'm wondering if it is all this cleaning making me realise how unfit I am!! lol

Think this flylady is making me into a bit of a cleaning snob!! Called round at a friends today and all I could think was her patio doors need a clean, and her glass coffee table and her telly screen, then I noticed the cobwebs:eek: .

What has this site done to me!!!! I wanted to scream stardrops, white vinegar and microfibre cloth. Even found myself wanting to clean it for her!!:rotfl:

    How sad am I???

i'm just the same. got a takeaway at friends the other night and didn't want to eat off her stuff or even sit down as its all so icky :lipsrseal then happened to nip to asda with her the other night and told her what cleaning stuff she should buy (no stardrops or microfibre cloths in that store, sadly!)

have done ok today, as well as a meeting (which i was late for as was hoovering the mattress and behind the bed :rotfl:) i've done the bedroom and the washing (just gonna remake bed), dealt with the post, been to the PO & got next week's money out (busy tomorrow!), been to homebase, and had leisurely lunch out with friends :D

next appointment means i need to leave in 20 mins, just gonna go and remake bed and then blast a bit more of the desk paperwork!

edit: bed now done, bag half packed for weekend and had a quick hoover thorugh whole flat (can do it all from one plug socket :D)

Well ok day, quite suprised as kids are off school, done loads inc baking etc, remembered to list eBay things but some more to do, all the washings done from last nights sicky time, have had to put TD on to get it all dry. Waiting for duvet etc to finish the bed. Bedrooms done, all floors done (will redo living room when kids go to bed as no doubt it'll need it) Still need to put a stack of laundry done away, will do that when I put the boys to bed. Then just the nighttime stuff to do and that'll be it for the night :)
One day I might be more organised...........
