    Thanks to Lil-me + moggins for explaining a bit more about this flylady challenge! I had a quick look on the web at the flylady.net site, the thought of receiving 15-20 emails a day fills me with horror, so I will definitely be checking back here to see what the list of the day is!

    I was quite pleased with myself today:

    I made some homemade chilli oil using up some dried chillies taken off the plants from the summer

    did some accounts which I've been meaning to do for 3-4 months (ouch!)

    sorted through some clothes and put a load aside for charity which I'll take tomorrow

    Just cooked dinner and now settling down with a glass of wine in front of the telly - ahhhh! Just from reading this site yesterday I feel so much more inspired to get to grips with the jobs I've been putting off. :T

    Looking forward to a productive 2007!

    Evening all :hello:

    Well it's been a very restful Sunday for me for a change thanks to this thread :j Got up this morning to find DD had stripped her bed, put all the bedding inside her pillowcase and thrown it down the stairs herself :D:j Okay so her bedroom was a tip with toys but she even managed to get them all tided away while I washed my hair and had a bath :T

    My list looks something like this:D
    1. Dailys - [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE]B[STRIKE]KD WMx2 EM[/STRIKE] - didn't clean the bath out properly as its bath day today and not worth it!
    2. School stuff ready - just lunches to make which get done tomorrow morning ;)
    3. [STRIKE]Change beds[/STRIKE] - DD stripped hers and then OH made both beds up without asking :j
    4. Clean shoes
    5. Clothing repairs
    6. Kitchen Floor
    7. Dust masterbedroom
    8. Hoover downstairs
    9. Scan bank statements - to roll over to tomorrow.
    Also managed to make 2 batches of buns for lunches, 4 loaves of bread and a huge (for us) dish of savoury mince for tea which will be reused for cottage pie on tuesday :D Quite chuffed with myself as I didn't get up until 10am and didn't start any jobs until 1pm :j OH bathed DD before tea which meant that at 6pm she went off to bed and OH and I enjoyed 2 games of Bullseye (he was bought the boardgame for Xmas 2005) and then a game of darts :rotfl: Great fun.

    Plan for the rest of the evening is to have a good luck at my sewing box which I've had to strip out as it's ancient and was starting to smell horrible and leaving a trail of "old dust/muck" behind it whenever I put it down. I see some recycling of material and staplegunning this evening while watching Cold Case. ;) Off to go and find the bits I need and shift OH from infront of the darts :shhh::naughty::silenced::rotfl::wave:

    Monday has rolled around again and this is what it has in store for me . . .

    Laundry - 2 loads done, just need hanging out;
    Bed made;
    Grocery list - done
    grocery shopping
    Health food shop to buy some citronella oil to help with puppy training;
    Some more time spent on business finances;
    Work;
    Dinner - in SC;
    Bed!

    Short and sweet. I've been really, really tired lately - have been sleeping every afternoon, so I went for a walk this morning before breakfast to hopefully pick me up a bit. Will try and continue to do that, I'm sure feeling fitter will help.

    when you post-how do you get the line to go through the word to check it off:confused:

    Ta

    PP
    xx

    To STRIKE a line etc, you use either the [STRIKE]S [/STRIKE]with a line through it on the Go Advanced images, at the opposite end to bold, easiest to highlight the text with the mouse then click the botton, or put STRIKE in these [] brackets before it and /STRIKE in the same brackets after it , if I do it it'd strike it out so I won't ! Sorry I think I even confused myself there hope it makes sense. I find it easier to strike multiple items and just cut and paste what I have done into the bit I have striked, changes the order of the jobs but so much easier IMO

    If you quote the next bit you should be able to see how it works
    [STRIKE]
    Hope this works for you [/STRIKE]

    Right ok, I got very little done after spending 4 hours out, almost 3 in Tescos as the boys decided to play up completely. I am never ever taking both of them alone again! Just finished the floors, washing up is done, sinks been cleaned, cloths and mop heads soaking before I was them, got a new bucket for that & other soaking jobs today. Dogs even can tell I am in a bad mood as they are hiding out of the way! They shredded a toy leaving bits all over so I lost my temper and shouted at them! It's just been one of those days. I give up! Got the bed time routine to do and benches to clear in kitchen (before it becomes a hotspot!)

    Kids even playing up now, just sent them back to bed for about the 12th time, deep breaths calm calm calm!!!!!!!

    Tomorrow I will get sorted, boys are out at school and have a drunken DP and his brother staying here tonight so they'll be kicked out early so I can get cracking.

    PS morning Denise (have you tried Bicarb I'm finding it a godsend with puppy smells, she thinks she is too posh to pee and poop outside and prefers my toilet floor grrrr! I might google citronella don't know what that does)
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Well, i have had a really productive day today, after yesterdays non-event!!!
    Ive dusted and cleaned all of upstairs, made a roast dinner, loaded DW and now emptied it, hoovered upstairs and downstairs (including the stairs), WM has been on with all of clothes and towels, and they are now hanging on the maiden (washing basket nice and empty now). Ive also wiped down the whole kitchen and made the packed lunches ready for tomorrow.
    We have also all had baths and hair washes, children in bed, so i am now relaxing and watching CBB!!!!
    Ive also wrapped and addressed all my ebay parcels, just waiting for one more to pay, and then i can address that one too, so i really have a big head start on tomorrow now!!!
    Hope everyone has a lovely evening xx

    Monday Morning Mania

    Back to the living room this morning.
    Hoover, dust, polish, clear any living room hotspots. Check sofas for any stains that could be tackled with some Stardrops. If you have a magazine rack then sort through it and get rid of any not needed anymore. Clean television screen (a tumble dryer sheet works wonders for cutting down the static), dust lightfitting.

    Hoover hallway and check for cobwebs, remove any clutter in living room and hallway and place it where it belongs.

    Grab a basket and shift anything sitting on those stairs waiting to be taken up.

    Plus do dailies

    27 fling boogie

    tackle hotspots

    nighttime routines
    Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    Great, thanks moggins. :T That means I don't have to rush round with the hoover now, but can collapse instead!

    DD's room looks great, and the sittingroom looks surprisingly large without all her bedroom in it!!:D

    She has been excellent about decluttering, and sorted through everything before she put it back. Four bags removed, one rubbish and three for charity, as well as a stack for selling on ebay. Well worth all the work this week!

    Happy birthday Kaz!!

    Hope tomorrow goes better lil-me, well, it has to really!

  • Woohoo.

    I've done some of those tasks already today, so i am slightly ahead for tomorrow.

    I like the thought of culling the mags - i have a whole pile dating back to last summer that i haven't had chance to read yet, so i think that might be a way to spend part of tomorrow. :D :rolleyes:

    I think i will enjoy that.

    Michelle, x

    Penny pincher - haven't answered your q as the others did so in my place so well.
