NS&I Bond Winning Alerts?

Hi everyone,

So, I've joined the new NS&I online system and I just wondered. If I win a premium bond draw now, do I get an email? Or do I still have to check manually?

you get an email for each winning bond.

i still check tho'

have you opted for having your winnings paid direct to a bank account?

so you said in your post "... I've joined the new NS&I online system and..."
log on to your online account - then just navigate the menu system till you find the appropriate option - i cannot recall the options - failing that just phone them up and the tele person can do it for you or talk you through the procedure.

You should get an email from NS&i if you win a prize, like this:

Dear Mr X

You have some good news from ERNIE about your Premium Bonds! We have sent you a new secure message giving full details. Please visit nsandi.com and log in to read it. You'll need your NS&I number and password to log in.

Once you have logged onto NS&i online > select Preferences at the top > then select Change options on the left hand side > from the drop down menu select your Holders number & click Next, you should now be able to select the option to have any prizes paid out to your nominated bank account.

P.s. you can also instruct NS&i over the telephone to have prizes paid out to your nominated bank account, phone number: 0500 007 007 (open every day from 7am till midnight).
