Primus low usage

I have searched through the Primus terms and conditions but cannot find a definitive answer on my question.....
I was thinking of taking the 6.79 per month offer for my second line. I don't use the phone at all really but of course am currently paying 13.60 per month to BT.....I note that BT are offering the up front payment offer but it appears to require two calls to be made per month....now it is of course not a great expenditure but I would have to remember to make the calls....
My question is : - do Primus insist on a minimum number of chargeable calls being made per month?
anyway, I note the issues with Primus but am keen to answer my question re minimum call volume
thanks

Hi
can anyone help on this q?0 -
BT (line rental now £13.90/month BTW) don't either - they insist on 2 chargeable OR inclusive calls.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

As Heinz says, The BT calls can be inclusive-they cost you nothing. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I'm afraid I can't answer that. I signed up for their free Primus Saver Option 2 CPS calls package more than 5½ years ago now but did so with the intention of using the free evening and weekend calls of up to 90 minutes each to 01/02/03 numbers it provided - and there's never been a month when I haven't (or rather the GL hasn't) made good use of that! Thanks for the answer re BT
What is the situation with Primus - is it a similar arrangement - I cannot really find anything in the Primus terms and conditions.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
