Hi all,
I have a friend that is looking for a router for his NTL connection.
I was going to get a router from PC World that I got for another friend a couple of years ago, but I looked at the routers and they appear to have different bandwidth standards now.
The Belkin products recommend newer routers if you want to be able to do wireless internet gaming.
Can anyone recommend a router if:
1) Just a normal wireless router - any good deals on at the moment?
2) A more advanced one to assist with wireless internet gaming?
Thanx

Any wireless router supporting the 802.11g wireless standard (54 Mbit/s maximum transfer rate or 108 with compatible wireless card) will do. Typical transfer rate will be about half this, depending on reception and signal strength, but still way faster than the broadband connection which is anything between 512 Kbit/s and 8 Mbit/s, depending on your ISP.
One of the Netgears here would be just fine - http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/cat/Wireless/subcategory/Cable-/-DSL-Routers0
