Family Camping - Suggestions?

Hi All,
I'm sure this is asked all the time, but can someone recommend a camping site?
Basically its going to be our first camping experience as a family. Obviously two adults and 6 year old and 3 year old. Needs to be in the South part of England as we're from the South-East (want to go far......but not too far for the first one).
Obviously the site has got to be family/kiddie orientated and must have some form of activities for the kids - swimming pool? play area? surrounding attractions?
We're looking at going over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. We're not too fussed about price.
Many Thanks

You'll be lucky to get in anywhere for Bank Holiday, it gets booked months in advance.
Have a look at these sites for late availability.

Okay, thanks for the warning.
I'll check out the links.
Many Thanks0 -
Don't go too heavy on things to entertain kids including swimming pools etc - as long as they have a large field a football, cricket set etc most children that age are happy - go somewhere near a larger town and you can use a public swimming pool. Extra leisure facilities means extra cost.
We found Suffolk ideal for our camping needs and even in August it was very quiet.0 -
We are also from the southeast and we use Sumners Ponds near Crawley quite often. I have put the link below. They have a shop on site, a cafe on site and loads to do. They also have a few fishing lakes. The village shops and pub are just around the corner as well!
