  • I'm staying in too. We're playing a family game of Monopoly. My husband and sister-in-law are currently working out a deal whilst I'm happy with a couple of houses on Mayfair and Park Lane. LOL!!! It's gonna be a long night as we are all so competitive.
Happy New Year when it comes everyone!!!

  • Yep, I'm in, in, in...SAHM with littlies asleep upstairs. This is miles better than last New Year's Eve though (waiting in dread for violent ex-partner to return). At least I'm in my own house and ex-p doesn't know where I am, so littlies and I are safe.
Am actually indulging in sherry as I type...alcohol being virtually unheard of in the rainbowrisin residence, as I'm a rubbish drinker, but it is New Year's Eve after all.
    Happy New Year all:D
  • I too am staying in. Just been to the off license to get some lemonade for my peach schnapps to have a quiet drink to see the new year in. Brother in law thought he'd be funny and ask me to babysit his son, who is a spoilt so and so, so i declined as i didnt fancy being kept up by a screaming tot. My daughter is asleep and son and husband watching Waynes World. Me,I am watching channel 4s fame review and on here. Wishing one and all a Happy New Year and a healthy, wealthy 2007!!
And yes the lady in the avatar is me

    I've been Money Tipped!
My two are wanting to stay up for New Year so they are both sat on the sofa with big fleecy blankets over them and glued to their DSLites, one is on Star Wars and the other on Cars. Never seen them so quiet so... I'm on here. You could hear a pin drop... amazing.

  • I was supposed to be going to Glasgow for a shindig in George Square. Was well chuffed to get tickets but it has been cancelled due to the minging weather:cry: I am now sitting watching the Simpsons with my kids in my PJ's. Oh well c'est la vie at least I won't spend the money I was intending to and will have a nice wee time with them. All the best everyone and here's to a prosperous 2007. xx

    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.

  • I'm in too.

The bf is on the PSP and we've just watched Derren Brown. I've not been 'out' on New Year's eve for the past 3 years anyway - really don't like it - everyone getting extra drunk just because it's new year. Total waste of money and effort.

I've had an awful cold for the past few days anyway so wouldn't be much fun if I was out anyway.

Happy New Year to all xx
