How long does a letting agency have before it must LEGALLY refund your deposit?
I was under the impression it was 30 days.
My girlfriend has moved out 30 days ago today and been told by this agency (Who's customer service seems an absolute joke) that he deposit will not be refunded until the end of the week.
They stated on the tennancy agreement that they would refund the deposit within 30 days. Something they aint going to manage.
I am fuming at this company as they have repeatedly promised that the deposit would be returned but failed to do so when they said they would (was promised it by the end of last week, and by the end of today.)
