Health food shops often sell wheat grain, just not under the Ebly brand name. I have no problems getting it from independents.0

After being unable to buy Ebly since we moved back to the UK from Germany several years ago I finally found a website called french click.co.uk which sells it and I am eagerly awaiting my order.

Found on the shelf in Waitrose today, EBLY!!!!!!!!! :j Have been looking for it for years now ever since Masterfoods said they were no longer producing it.
Packaging remains unchanged and it still says it's produced by Masterfoods. The website doesn't do anything but maybe they're still working on it!!!!

Can I ask how you all use it? I seem to remember it being allowed on slimmers world and scattering it on salads? (like thriftlady I use pearl barley, freezing any excess after getting advice on MSE
)
The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

Please and Thank You are the magic words;)0 -
Glad to hear this is back, I really liked it. I tended to use it as you would something like pearl barley, in soups for example. I also used to use it cold in salads, sort of like really giant cous-cous, and a couple of times I served it hot with stews and casseroles rather than rice or potatoes. I'd imagine there's a lot more you could do with it though, I've seen recipes for risotto and even baked stuff, like crackers.0
