Hi all,
One of you bought a sack of flour from somewhere other than Doves. I cant remember who (possibly Kittie) nor where. I put this down to an age thing!
Please could someone help me out?

I want kittie to tell me where she buys nuts & seeds in bulk. Keep forgetting to ask her.0

You never "tell" a man (especially a DH) that you are economising. They immediately think they will be eating gruel and somehow punished!!!! Either that or they think their "man the hunter" skills are being disparaged.
Absolutely! I get round it by saying we are eating more veggies and lentils for health ,which is true anyway. And buying second hand for environmental reasons, which is also true. But it does save a packet too.0 -

Mine is actually all for the economising, but I don't give him a run down of how I'm doing it. It just gets put in front of him. Tonight its a beef casserole which I have padded out a lot with soup mix. Not sure he'll even notice.
Planning a couple of veggie nights next week (currently using up freezer stock of meat) I tend to do veggie curries as its easier to disguise the lack of meat. Tomorrow is turkey chilli, again with the soup mix to bulk it out. (Soup mix is about 4 years out of date so really needs using)GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
