It should be fine, after all, food colouring is meant to be eaten.

Argh, stupid automated phone systems! I was expecting my first Approved food order this morning. Just had an email saying that no-one was in when they tried to deliver it. So, I rang the number for the delivery company, only to be given options that are no good and no option of actually speaking to someone.
We often have problems with deliveries because there are several addresses around here that are similar, and the sat-navs put us over the road halfway across the common! However, the delivery drivers usually ring us when they can't find us, so I'm suspecting that this delivery driver was trying to deliver to the wrong address, even though it's correct on the emails. He probably tried to deliver to XX barn, or XX Terrace instead of XX Cottages.

Now I'm going to have to ring approved foods and see if they can sort it out their end and tell the driver to ring me.

someone else has resorted to that - baby's bottle with black marker on the outside!

i'd go for green or black myself :D

That's what I was thinking - green. I have some at home so will be bringing it in.

Its pathetic, if someone asked for milk I'd happily share it but to steal it is just not on - makes me mad:mad: At least I've never had my lunch stolen - others have!

  • Working 4 long days this week to have a day off with DD2 (15) as she is getting fed up on her own each day.

Have got my zing back today. Freezer is now defrosted and repacked. We have been to the orthodontist, done the weekly shop (and put it away) and collected the exam results (not very good apart fron science and she has gone from an e to a c in that :j) and two loads of washing are on the line.

OH has a procedure booked at the hospital this afternoon. I think the laxatives have finished working now :o.

Have all of the ingredients for a big chutey making session this afternoon. Also want to make an applecake as for work tomorrow as one of my colleagues gave me a huge bag of cooking apples yesterday. I did very well at work yesterday and came home with the apples a cucumber, two courgettes and a marrow. Earlier this week I came home with a bag of eating apples. I have also taken in produce from the garden and the allottment as well to share. The counter top at work has looked like a produce stall this week. Not everything I took in was taken by my colleagues so I took thenm to someone I know in another office and she has promised me some of her victoria plums in return.

The sun is shining and I am feeling very happy today.

Hope you all have a good day

Theres a yellow ball up in the sky! Pity its not a warm day, but the sunshine cheers me up no end.

GQ I hope supergran is ok, what a shock and nasty trick too.

Smileyt congratulations on the new hearing aids, must remember to be quieter when I see you now :) Mind you the old ones were very good as you always hear me. My Mum says hers catch silly noises and she is always asking me 'what was that' thinking the roof just fell off ?' - bless her.

Having a lovely quiet day today (she says crossing her fingers). Going to make my blackberry jam to free up some room in the freezer.

Hope your OH is ok today Mrs Vegplot. I think my Oh had a similair procedure at a mobile clinic a couple of years ago and the staff were fantastic and everything was dealt with very quickly. With a good result too after a scary couple of weeks.

I had an idea and hope it isn't too late!
Do you think the engineers might have some sort of basket they can fit over the overflow so water can come out but stuff can't get shoved in?

And might they consider it for all the ground floor flats?

ETA: Oldtractor, might your cookery be an extra source of income?
