ebookers

Could it really save me time and money?
The answer is NO!

I booked two round-trip flight tickets to Hong Kong on the ebookers website last month (June 2011). Each ticket costs me £645. 4 weeks later, I did a random search on the internet and discovered the same flight costs £590 per ticket, so now I have over-paid £110 for the tickets.

'Book cheap flight tickets at the lowest cost, ebookers offers great deals on low cost flights and budget flights worldwide for mid and long-haul air travel. Find the best flight comparison for best air travel deals.'

Perhaps it's time for ebookers to update their strap line and admit they can no longer offer flight tickets at the lowest cost!

It's unbelievable!

At the time you booked perhaps it was the cheapest available.

Flight prices do fluctuate from time to time.

I follow the 'once you've booked don't check the prices' rule. That way you don't know if they've gone down and can't get annoyed and upset.

You booked at that price, it's not ebookers fault that the price dropped. That's the risk we run.

we books flights 2 years ago 4 flights for £1100 knew it was a bargain, checked a month later and same flights were £2400.

would you expect ebookers and all companues to add a line that some times flights go up and down like share.

This is just the way that flights work, you wouldnt go back to asda and ask for a refund on beans would you.

As mentioned to the dont look again or you could be dissappointed.
