Yesterday was not great, went to work, rubbish day so spent £5 in pub and wife spent £20 on kids shoes. Still did not exercise so all in all not going well.

Anyone suggest if I should move the thread and if so how and where? I like the feel and support of the debt free board but not really in debt.

As the diary isn't very long yet you could just start it again.
Don't see why you can't put one on the DFW board. Money is one of the "issues" you're trying to deal with.
Just explain how you're feeling, what the situation is. People are very helpful and supportive over there.

    hi

i just popped in here from reading your other post re wife giving up work.....

The one thing i really think you could down on very easily especially if you had more time is your food shopping....

Have you looked at the threads in the Old Style board?

Why not post a list of what types of food you buy / what meals you eat and enjoy and i am sure you would get a lot of support in bringing down the cost whilst still eating healthy food.

I know you have mentioned growing your own veg.... well now would be a good time to build the veg beds and plan what you are going to grow next year..

what about a family day out blackberry picking and make some jam / wine for next year?

Old style is great and becomes a habit quite quickly..

    Hi Phil,

Couple of things that could lower your landline bill - https://www.saynoto0870.com for finding alternative cheaper numbers to those those pesky 0845-types. Also there are loads of websites to go through for cheap international calls rather than going through BT, etc. Worth doing a google search on this.

    cheers
