Praise for Orange, I think!

I received a rather large mobile phone bill this month, due to some multimedia services messages received charged at £3 each that i simply did not sign up for! I remember receiving them but just assumed it was spam and ignored them, never thought I would be charged.
Anyway I phoned Orange, they phoned the company that sent them who just claimed I signed up for it so wouldn't do anything, so Orange are adding a credit to my next bill to cover it yaaaaaaay! :T
Though I did get the name of the orange person I spoke to in case it doesn't appear...

Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard

That's good to know... but what about next month?! Have you managed to cancel this service? If not, you're going to keep getting the messages and I can't see Orange being so accommodating next month..."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Someone subscribed my number and changing it was the only option offered, inconvenient if it keeps happening0

I received 10 messages in the space of 3 minutes, and none since. I wouldn't even know how to unsubscribe now as I haven't kept them. i do now have the details of the company so will probably be writing to them to complain anyway, so I have something in writing if it happens again.Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0

good to hear you're getting credit, most phone companies wouldnt give a hoot, but rather than changing your number is there any way they can just block the number that is sending you the texts?0
