Its just another trading name of the same company - CIM technologies Limited - I would write to the same address as shown on the tf website.

    Ok

Well their registered address is http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/a73cd47cc10dcb5c84ddb0dfc9ff9f4a/compdetails

    Name & Registered Office:
    NORTHERN DEBT RECOVERY LIMITED
    15 LYNDHURST TERRACE
    LONDON
    UNITED KINGDOM
    NW3 5QA
    Company No. 06956396

So you can write their. I would suggest checking with trading Standards as to whether they are inn breach of regulations re not listing their address and company number.

Personally however, I would pay toothfairy direct, tell them why and make a formal complaint to the OFt about them both.

    Re: Toothfairy Finance/NDR/Marshall Hoare queries
A nest of vipers.....they are all based in the same building and are the same company....but of course they won't tell you this, it is an attempt to frighten you to the extreme...they have simply changed the name of their company

    MARSHALL HOARES BALIFFS LTD
    65 NEW CAVENDISH STREET
    LONDON
    W1G 7LS
Up until February 2011 they were called this - TOOTHFAIRY FINANCE (CHEQUE CASHING ) LIMITED

    CIM TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED
    65 NEW CAVENDISH STREET
    LONDON
    W1G 7LS

Here's a good one......Northern Debt Recovery are supposed to be a dormant company !! (The OFT will be VERY interested in this !!!)

how do you complain to oft as it always says you have to be a third party and not consumer?

The OFt does not process complaints from consumers, but it does collect complaints and if it gets a lot about one company launches investigations. Quite a lot of the "More popular" companies that feature here have has the OFT give them "advice" requiring them to change their practices and a few have lost their licences.
