Replacing 3-way valve on boiler

I've been quoted £450 to replace a 3-way valve. The part itself is around £100, so it looks as though £270 is being charged for labour, which seems a bit steep to me - could anyone comment? This is in Oxfordshire.

It's a Worcester Danesmoor 15/19 oil C/H boiler. The valve is a Honeywell V4073A.3-6 Month Emergency Fund #14: £9000 / £10,0000

That is a basic 3 port valve.
On a normal system I would charge around £170 to replace. Out of this I charge £57 for the valve (complete)
I don't know oil boilers, but I cannot think it would take much more time to change on your boiler.
Even Worcester would probably only charge around £250 for a fixed price repair.0 -
have you contacted the manufacturer for a quote yet?0

a handyman could change that valve for approx half that price.Get some gorm.0

Thanks all - that is as I thought, but good to have confirmation from people who know what they're talking about!3-6 Month Emergency Fund #14: £9000 / £10,0000
