Camcorder Insurance

Hello everyone,
I have got a digital hard drive camcorder and looking to take out warrenty on it... as it cost £450. I got it from Comet and Domestic and General are offering me extended warrenty on the cover.
What is the best thing to do in this situation? Do I go with Domestic and General or are there other companies out there who can insure the camera?

get a deal on extra insurance when you buy it .Not after , or add it to home insurance.0

add it to home insurance? would that give worldwide cover?
At the moment, I ahve signed up for barclays First Addition who give gadget cover for £78 per year. I could just insure it for the first year or so after my manufacturers warrenty (i.e. just until it is 3 years old). I can cancel this policy within 3 months to get a full refund. So at the moment I am looking for something that gives me worldwide cover just in case it gets stolen or broken abroad.
