Ahh the brown envelope of doom. No other envelopes can reduce me to a quivering wreck like they do! :o

    Thanks.

Uuumm, well they didn't, they just said No!. My friend was most upset that she didn't get to see a doctor.

I honestly thought that they would have done, just to clarify matters.

Then your friend needs to apply again and get help filling in the form so it is done correctly. Unfortunately there is not a lot anyone can do about the DLA failings. :(

Omg did i dread the brown envelope twice in 4 months, first it was my review which took then 10 weeks then they agreed i was on the correct levels then my renewal and that form came in with the renewal decision, thankfully this time it took 2 weeks but was bricking it but thankfully i stayed on the same award but just for 2 years and they state the reason for this is because my health might improve, well i so hope that my health does improve and i can come of all my benefits in the next 2 years but realistically i can not see that happening but who know`s i might get visited from some fairy`s and they might sprinkle magic fairy dust over me then i will be all better and train for the marathon and def not be on benefits :)

OMG what people expect from the DWP these days -- No less than a Fairy :T (by the way that was me joking as sometimes on these forums some may think I was being serious or sarcastic which I am not).

I remember the days when I ran half marathons & often think "did I really".

I hate the brown envelopes too :(
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
