Concrete quantity help

I am going to be building a small porch 2m wide by 1m deep. I am thinking footings of half metre deep by half metre wide which I think would need 1 cubic metre of concrete?? Do my above workings out look correct and if so what would be most cost effective way of doing the concrete mix myself or get pre mixed delivered?…

spoke to BC today who advised either digging a minimum of a metre and then filling with min 300mm of concrete and building up from there or i could do it with a floating raft i think he called it (reinforced concrete slab 500mm wider than the porch.

so i am going to dig 1m down and assess the ground conditions first before deciding on how much concrete to fill trench with.
