in IVA & DRO
Hi, I have spent weeks reading all the posts on here and have thought it over and over. Today I took the leap and sent off my information to CCCS. Every website i've looked at has recommended an IVA. I just hope what we have to offer is reasonable, does anyone have any advice? We owe £38k:o and have £285 spare a month on our basic salaries (joint). We have been scraping by on my OT and living off £30 per wk for food for 4 of us. I just wasn;t sustainable and once we were told OT is being cut it dawned on me the mess we were in.
I guess its just a waiting game:eek:

Hi moneymuddles U r right it's just like a waiting game hang in there. U sound so much like us same amout of debt nearly but we can only offer to pay 260.00 a month. We have gone with the CCCS too waiting on the proposal to come now they must be so busy at the moment.0

Thanks very much. I sometmies get overtime and expenses too so i think i'll have to chat to them about that. I've also had a company called Vincent Bond contact me, is anyone using them?0

Hi and well done for addressing the problem ... that's the hardest part done. Vincent Bond are a good company -- but you need to speak to a few to get a feel for who you prefer ( you will be working togther for at least 5 years!). If you prefer the so-called charity firms Payplan are well thought of. Have a look at https://www.iva.com for other firms with reviews.
Best of luck.0
