Outside Lighting Help!!

Hi
I have recently bought 2 Tall 3 headed lights out of B&Q for my drive. I have a cable from the socket inside the house (not connected) behind a 4 gang switch which are all being used.
I have been searching for a 5 gang switch but very hard to find although I could use a 6 gang which seem more available.
I want to add a motion sensor to the first light and need some advice of a good motion sensor and where should I install the motion sensor. I was thinking of the base of the light as I would not have to drill any holes into the new lights!!
Is there anything else I should be aware of before I try and do this myself?
Thanks
