water leak then no leak?

    You've got a hose which has started to perish. You need the hose that did it replacing and be prepared for others to follow.

    It is serious because it will only get worse and turn into a split. Radweld will not cure this.

    radiator had cracked on the bottom joint, when pressurised the leak happens, so probably whilst driving.
    he pressure tested and said the bottom had gone.

    too far gone for repair so £145 for a new one :(

    sure i put a micra one in the last one i did rather than source a suzuki one
    have a trawl round see if you can get a better price unless you have commited

    £145 is for taking rad off, fitting new one, filling with anti freeze.

    the rad was £91+vat (and that is cheap as most places were £110-120)

    price includes labour.

    trouble is i would not have a clue using different manufactures parts.

    how come Suzuki are more expensive? micra rads are £50 on the bay
