That was quick! Apart from the European maps, what makes the 710 better?

I hope they honour my order placed yesterday!

What a rude bunch in customer service people they have!! They now will only honour my order I placed and received confirmation for on 1st Jan WITHOUT the free European Maps!!! They claim there systems werent working properly as too many people were ordering at once and so they don't have enough stock left of the original offer so they cant give me the maps anymore for the deal... Shame on Global Positioning Systems!

It arrived this morning - 2 days late. But amount on the invoice didn't match the website. Instead of being charged total of £245.xx incl vat and del. invoiced £316.xx. Phoned the CC company to check and found had been charged £336.xx. So perhaps they don't desrve their 4 star rating on Kelkoo. However finally got through to "customer services" who knew all about the overcharge - something about wrong codes and promised a refund through their Accounts dept. If it isn't received have told them I will be raising it as a disputed charge with the CC company. Perhaps they made an error - did seem a good deal. Will update this when I get my refund.

    Hi SUSIET
I think that they have had a few complaints by the comments when they answered the phone. I fully expect to get the balance back - it is a good offer and was still on their website earlier this afternoon. Note that they are also selling the old Tomtom 700 for £299. They can hardly not sell it to me at the original £199 + vat now that it has been delivered!

Finally resolved, Total PDA agreed they had sold it at the wrong price - something about the wrong code on their website. No appology from Customer (appalling) Service. Insisted that it takes 5 days to process a credit ( yet only a minute to process a debit!!). Again I cannot believe that a reputable company can advertise at one price, issue an invoice at a higher (mistake yes) but then process the CC charge at an even higher price.
The CC company weren't much more help (Citi, Indian call centre) until I insist that they raise it as a disputed item charge - still waiting for the paperwork to come, but won't need it now.
Just hope I don't need to go back to Total PDA under the guarantee. Think I might have considerable trouble getting any Customer Service. Steer clear I think in future.
