Buy the Tomtom 510 instead with free Western Europe maps on DVD and free remote control for £209.95 delivered:

You will need to buy an extra 1GB SD card (about £10) to install the maps, but then you will have exactly the same functions as the 710 for less :)

what a great idea, i'll suggest that to my hubby. Cheers.

This looks like a great deal?!?! Surely better than the TomTom 1 for an extra £50? Anyone know anything about the company selling it?

I have bought stuff off of them before with no issues. You get tracking number etc and nomally fast delivery. Safe as things go

I see that the price for this has gone back up to £269.94 today and they've removed the free Western Europe maps DVD from the offer. :(

I hope everyone who wanted one managed to get their order in!

That was quick! Apart from the European maps, what makes the 710 better?

I hope they honour my order placed yesterday!

I missed out too. BUT then looked at the 710, which they are doing for £199 plus vat and del. This includes the European maps pre loaded. Ordered one, seems a better bargain for the non techies - hope it arrives today!
