patterdale problems

hi, i have an 8 month old patterdale dog, she had her first season in middle of april,,, over last few days, her back nipples next to her back legs have been really dilated, feeling quite soft too touch. she has been grouchy in temprament when shes normally so placid. she is also moulting quite a lot, and eating her bits :o.

Is it possible she could be coming back into season.

Sorry for question, but its my first ever dog, and not sure .

thank you

Yup it is possible - best get her checked by the Vet.
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D

update,,, took her to the vets, yes she is having a phantom pregnancy,,, said she is a very hormonal dog,,, her new "babies" consist of a doggy toy duck, rubber squeeky ball and a chicken nugget :o:rotfl:

never mind, only another three weeks, and she will be through this

My lab used to have phantom pregnancies and they would pull her down quite a lot. Apparently, squeaky toys etc shouldn't be given to them as they see them as puppies!
