Me and the family are off to haven Devon cliffs next Friday and we are thinking of pre-booking the activity passes as you get 30% off supposedly. Anyone else done this ? Is it worth it ? Is it easy to book things ? If the kids get some and say we want to join them at crazy golf for example can we just pay for the adults to join them ? Are they strict on the age restriction as my son won't be 8 I
until dec and a few activities are 8yrs +. Are the vouchers generally one per activity ? Thanks in advance.

    Hi

I prebooked for Haven Thorpe Park for my 3 kids and saved a fortune.

Make sure you get straight in and book them at the pool or admin as they fill up fast.
Life is a rollercoaster.....ya just gotta ride it:whistle:

Hi - we have done the activity passes a few times although last time at Haven in May we didn't as we were at a site we had never been to before so weren't sure what the quality of activities would be. You do save slightly pre-booking the pass however you are then committed to using them. I found when I did this that my whole week revolved around the kids timetable of when they had things booked as it was mainly pool activities which they tend to do around lunchtime when the pool is closed for a short period. I have never seen crazy golf included in the activity pass - it is normally pay as you play.
The activities are all good fun and if you plan on staying in the park quite a lot then they are a good idea. Like the previous post mentioned, I would recommend booking them as quickly as possible as they can tend to get quite full however, as I said you then have a schedule to keep for the rest of the week.
Entirely depends on you personally - I now prefer to pay for the activities as we do them, that way they can fit around our schedule not the other way about.

Edit - as for the age limit I have never been asked for proof of age for my kids however my 8 year old is quite tall for her age.
  • Thanks both for your help. I may not prebook then as i dont like the idea of being tied down to times etc.

passes are excellent value and the kids love the things theyve got planned
  • Hi

We went to Craig Tara in May and I looked at booking these and then didn't wish I had though as they work our at £5 each pass when booked beforehand but on site it is £8 per activity. In August we are hiring a private caravan on Primrose Valley so I can't pre-book the passes but I would defiinetly if I could coz that's why you go away to sites like this for the kids to try their hand at different activities and sports that they would not normally take part in perhaps at home.
