Do VCRs still output anything over coax, and it not just an RF Loop.

Seems cheaper TVs and VCRs and the like only ever have 1 scart, and never output anything over coax. So take, say, a chaper TV, DVD Recorder, VCR and Freeview box, and you wont be able to connect them (and probably all the same brand).

If there is an aerial out then it is 99.9% certain that there is an RF output in my experience.

I've got 2 different DVD recorders & 2 different DVD players, also 2 different Freeview STBs and 2 different hard drive PVRs.
All have obviously have SCART, some of them have 2 , all have aerial In & OUT and all of them play via the aerial lead without exception.
And trust me - they are all "cheap ones"

could you tell me whether this tv has

    freeview?

    1080i resolution?

has it got a gaming mode?

    has it got a subwoofer?

can it tell me my future?

can it help with my wifes moods? if it cant can it help mine?

    hdmi input?

    dvi input?

    how wide is it?

is it made of bio degradeable material?

how much electricity does it use if you leave the red standby light on?

is it made in an ethical country?

do the people who make it earn a fair wage?

can I pay Asda in 1p's for it?

    do Asda accept luncheon vouchers?

is it on the website if not why not I dont see why I should have to actually get on my feet and actually visit Asda to look at it?

    can it fly?

I'd thought I'd ask these questions before anyone else did after all the tv is £100 so I would like it to be top spec!
Yes but apart from that what did the Romans do for Asda?

I just brought one has it value for money. You cant go wrong with some of these cheap tv's as a spare tv since in my view they hardly go wrong.

    !

As a matter of fact YES THEY DO !

I handed in £52 worth (dated 31/12/06) just 2 hours before they closed yesterday.

However in theory you cannot use them for electrical, clothes, household products etc.

They can "officially" be used to pay for any food items and beverages although again "in theory" this excludes alcoholic ones !!!

Having said that, yesterday the till operators didn't question bottles of whiskey and I just made sure that they were bagged up and out of sight when the supervisor had to be called to do the final overide due to the "voucher limit" restriction on the tills.

When I spent a load at the end of 2005 the FOOD I bought was a load of tins of cat food & dog food - the supervisor agreed "it was food" even if it was not for human consumption.
