Butlins late deals

Do butlins do late deals at all? We want to go over the summer holidays but i dont know whether it would be better to book now or wait and see if a late deal comes up.

We only want to go fri-mon. I see on there last thursday the price went right down to £200 for 2 adults, 1 child and an infant for breakfast and dinner aswell but i'm wondering if thats because it was a day shy of the summer holidays.

Any ideas? :j

i have a feeling that all the holiday companies are struggling to fill their holidays this year, as i get constant emails from them all including butlins(in fact butlins are the worst for it at the moment) on a daily basis all saying they are having a sale must end today etc, then tomorrow i would get another one, but to answer your question yes they do late deals, although it being butlins they wont be as cheap as other companies, have you signed up to get their emails, mind you if you do, be prepared to get a barrage of them
Take every day as it comes!!

I have booked butlins breaks at a day's notice and got fantastic prices (about £20 per night dinner, b and b). They do always claim their sale ends tomorrow but keep on reducing their prices right up to the day. It can be cheaper to book a 4 day break then extend by 3 days once there if you are after a week's stay.

I've tried booking on the day, but the prices are still the same as they were on the site earlier :-(

Thanks for the info, been checking often the last couple of days and it looks like they are all sold out for this weekend :(

Do you think they say they are sold out then put some on say thursday to go friday or am i clutching at straws? Really wanted to go this weekend.

    Thanks for replies :j

I don't think the prices will get any lower than they are now, will they? And you don't even get them cheaper if you try to book the day you go.

Well when i looked last thursday they had gone down by about £200 because it was the night before, i was hoping it would be the same this week but its not looking likely. :(

Oh really? Maybe it just depends how much they have left to get rid of then, cos I rang on Monday and they quoted me 600 odd which was the same as what it had been on the website.

I've been watching over the past few days as we are restricted with dates and have only just found out which we could have as 'holidays'

I saved some quotes which is better to do as the prices are fluctuating up and down. I telephoned them and asked if it's better to hold on but then you are hoping there is something left.

The dates we first needed were the Mon - Fri (1st) August which are quite high in price. I managed to get Mon - Fri (8th) at £140pp Silver with food court dining. This may well be over what they may end up at by the end of this week but at least we have a place. The prices have now gone up too.

Good luck, and I was going to hold on longer but I couldn't risk non availability.

BTW we are a family of 5

Bizarrely at the minute if you book for 2 adults 3 kids it's cheaper than 2 adults 2 kids?????
