Have you checked ebay? I got a very good deal a couple of years ago when I was doing up my kitchen. And they all deliver, some of them for free.0

I think my seller was smi hardwoods. 4cm solid oak worktops, good quality. I think I paid about £250 in total for two lengths of 2m and 3m. And they were very helpful and delivered when I asked them to - I wanted delivery two weeks after the purchase. I think my local Homebase was quoting around £400 per m.
Have a look on ebay and you can always have them send you samples.0
