Just a quick warning anyone holidaying in the three resorts, time share (RCI) people are out in force, they are offering free taxi ride there and back to Holiday Village. If you come across Annie (probably not her real name but she cant disguise her broad scouse accent) or any other tout promising free cable car rides/sea life entry etc etc with the dreaded scratch cards, obviously these tickets dont exist, and she quickly disappears when you arrive at the hotel, but if you want a two hour sales pitch and want to see the resort give it a go, you do get your return taxi to any destination locally you want.
The RCI reps promise one of three prizes, A is 1000 euros, B is holiday, C is a camcorder. All they need is all your details, name, address, dob, e-mail address etc etc, yea like im going to give you all that. Told them to keep their holiday.
They were amazed  when i walked away and said not interested.
Hope this helps someone.
A fool and their money are easily parted.

I would be quite surprised if these people are RCI employees - RCI is just the organisation that manages the exchange of timeshares etc.

These will be people who get paid by getting you to the timeshare place & help push you into a sale!! But this has been going on for years - you get given a scratchcard & amazily you win ... but you need to go somewhere remote where they spend hours trying to get you to buy.

They must get paid somehow, has to indirectly be RCI in the long run imo,

yes ... they get paid by the timeshare company - who ever they are.

RCI are nothing to do with this ....

if you own timeshares like my parents, then you can bank them & swap them using RCI - https://www.rci.com/RCI/ they actually say they are the largest exchange company in the world.

Not sure how you can blame rci for this??

What makes you think i fell for anything? knew it was time share, went along to see the resort and of course the free taxi to my sight seeing venture that day.

lets put it this way, if these touts lie for instance to get you to the resort, regardless whether they are connected to RCI or not it still sheds RCI in a bad light and instantly creates mistrust.

Didn't say you fell for anything, just commenting that as far as i'm aware most people who go abroad on holiday are aware of these touts and what they're after. Just like you are.
