E: 30/09 5000 Play tents to be won (draws every 2 weeks)

Please help me!!!!! Having received an email last week saying that I should destroy my tent (which I had not yet received) I then got a letter saying that they had stopped the killer tents in transit and would be sending new ones.

Today I received a tent in the post (it is red with a cow and a rabbit on). Does anyone know how I'm supposed to tell if its a lovely-happy-playtent on an evil tent of death (short of throwing my niece in it and seeing if she survives)?

I have emailed the company who helpfully sent an automatic response saying it would take them a week to reply. I will post here if and when I hear back - provided the killer tent has not claimed my soul by then.

I read on facebook that the new tents haven't been sent out yet, perhaps post on there you might get a quicker answer?

i received a tent today too also received a letter the other day sayin that if i had received the letter then it ment my tent had been stopped in transit and i would receive a tent soon not too sure wether i have received one of the faulty ones or not i did feel one of the poles kinda snapping when i tried to put it back in the bag anyway am gonna shove it in the cupboard till i know for sure

I also received the letter and my tent came today, I emailed them to say thank you and had an automated reply, then later had a reply to say it is from the faulty batch and not to use it and they will send a replacement.

thanks elisabeth will pop it in the bin now dont fancy the kids getting hurt this week too already broke my toe and just been stung with a wasp grrrr they do say it comes in threes huh x

I too had the email then a letter to say they had been stopped in transit. Then today the tent turned up presume it must be the faulty one? Why oh why did i take it out the neat little bag!!! Can't get it back in now:rotfl:

Thanks guys. Judging by your experiences, I think I'm gonna bin my tent too...or give it to a child I dislike;).

You're right about the bag though, how did they ever get the tent in there in the first place?!? It defies physics I tell you.
