hi
iv used up my isa for this yr and currently have 300-400p/m excess just sitting in my current account and looking for some safe-ish funds i can invest in through HL. I currently have a reg saver with hsbc and invest 300pm in a few high risk funds like aberdeen emerging, first state india etc, so looking for something safer
cant really be bothered to open another bank/savings account

I use CF Ruffer Tot Return O Acc (CGRIA) for this purpose. It's only priced up once a week and at month end. Seems to avoid the worst of the downward 'adjustments' at a cost of only modest growth.0

thanks for that will definately consider it, do the charges of 1.5% make it worthwhile still? also h-l doesnt list any of holdings?
any other ideas anyone?0 -

1.5% is pretty standard for HL 'actively' managed. I sense that this one is more 'active' than most, but just opinion.0 -

Kidmugsy,
this must be the sixth post today with that same identikit advice- haven't you got anything else to add? Are ILSCs the right thing for this OP who wants to save monthky? I thohgt they were lump sum investments for 1-5 years and not for those who save monthly?0
