How do you motivate yourself?

I've found my motivation for entering comps dwindling more and more. I really love comping I just need a kick to start again.

I've always found reading what people have won to be inspiring but even that isn't working at the moment. Help! :(
October Wins: £100 photobook voucher, sippy cup and booster seat.

I've been really unlucky the past 12 months, with only two wins to show for hours a day spent comping. I know how you feel!

I guess we really just have to stick with it. And hey, I see you've won more in July than I have! Keep your chin up :p

You have had huge wins this month, much bigger than me who has been doing it for years, isn't winning an ipad2 enough motivation??
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T

Wow according to your signature you have won £200 cash and an ipad 2 so far in July? Well done, amazing wins? What more motivation do you need? There are others that have won nothing and still keep going.
Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A

I had a year like that last year, felt like giving up but stuck with it and this year has been *amazing* for wins :j:j

Strangely, I have more motivation to enter when I haven't won much recently than I do when I win something fab :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I haven't won anything for a month, but keep on plugging away.

I think I have a serious addiction to comping! Can't stop entering them and not unmotivated at all!
  • i would love your wins for july lol

as you can see i havnt won much in july but i keep motivated by reminding myself that if i dont enter i am 100% guaranteed NOT to win

That's what I don't understand. I've had my best comping month but least motivation. I'm back to work after maternity leave so finding it really hard to motivate myself when I have my free time in the evenings.

Good luck to all those who've not had any wins this month. :)

I dont get it ... you have won some amazing stuff this month. Probably a better month than most months I have in the past 3 years. I'm sure those wins must fuel you to keep going for the rest of the year.. look to me as if you are super lucky.

TBH if you are going back to work soon you may aswell try to do as much as you can now, as you will have less time to enter when your back at work.

I realise I sound like I'm being ungrateful and moaning, I'm not. It was more about finding motivation to carry on. Don't know whats wrong with me! Think I was so deadset on winning an iPad, when I did I lost my motivation. Just trying to get it back! :)

I'm already back at work. Did loads before I returned hence the wins (I think!!)

GL, hope a big win is just around the corner.

maybe you feel like this because you dont have as much free time as you used to and you cant enter comps throughout the day now?
