Wilkinson paint

Does anyone know who it is made by and if it is any good?
Just their standard emulsion i mean

The manufacturer should be on the side of the tin, in terms of whether its good or not i prefer to stick to either crown or dulux as they generally only require 1 coat where as the non branded paints seem to require 3 or 4 although having not tried wilkinsons i couldnt say for sure.

I've used their bathroom paint and its fine. Paint's paint as far as I'm concerned I can't tell any difference between the walls I've used Wilko/Wickes/Focus stuff on and the ones that have Crown on.

I have just painted two bedrooms with Wilkinsons vinyl silk emulsion paint. The first one was on smooth plastered walls, mint green over magnolia, and it covered easily with one coat using a paint pad. The other was over an Anaglypta type paper, pale yellow over a slightly darker yellow, and it covered in one coat but I used a 4inch paintbrush this time.

I don't see the point in paying Dulux or Crown prices, paint is expensive enough! I have used Wilkos gloss paint before and found it fine, although the doors needed a second coat but the skirtings & architraves were OK with just one.

Painted the lounge a while back with their really cheap magnolia, no problem at all and went on really well, used a roller though and did do 2 coats but then I always do!
