Aberystwyth recommendations

We are off to Aberystwyth on holiday soon.

Any local knowledge appreciated on reasonably priced places to eat; pubs, cafes, restaurants we don't mind, as long as they serve really nice food

Caesars Cafe on the main road down the hill is very reasonable and tasty - good for lunch but gets busy.
Spartacus is great for filled baguettes.
More expensive but worth it is La Figaro opposite the wetherspoons/train station. Very nice steak.
Fish and Chip shops are good too.
Avoid Varsity for food - but drinks are quite reasonable.
I haven't lived there for a couple of years, but that's what I remember - hope its similar enough to be helpful.
Have a fab time, hope the weather is kind.
