i have installed the washing machine in the shed & am trying to think of ways for a drainage system.its 20m to the nearest drain & if i laid a drain pipe to it i would not get the run off for it to drain away,so the only thing i can think of is to drain it into a water butt then pump it out using a submersible pump connected to a hose into the mian drain which is bit of a pain espeacially in the winter when it could be frozen.so if u guys have any ideas that would be great, ifnot what sort of pump would do the job to pump it 25m

automatic bilge pump for a boat (with a float switch incorporated), although you'd need a transformer from240 to 12 volts0

You should not discharge foul water into a soakaway.
